Wm Morrison plc is the fourth largest retailer in the UK, with over 370 stores in the country, 114000 employees and an annual turnover of over £12.5 billion.
In July 2007, Morrisons hired Norman Pickavance as their new Group HR Director to drive a significant change program across the organisation.
This change program involves considerable organisational design and development.
The major areas of activity requested to support the program was the need to develop and build a strong HR team. In order to do this at the pace required, external support was necessary.
Having previously worked with Independent RPO, Norman Pickavance appointed Independent RPO to drive projects on
- Talent management
- Organisational design and development
- Resourcing and selection.
The amount and type of work required Independent RPO to provide significant and senior HR resource to support the project.
Harry Dunlevy, previously HR Director at Northern Foods, has joined Independent RPO to play a key role on leading this project.
This contract and the nature of the work allow us to even further expand our scope services.
